Got a spell for that?

If you haven’t noticed yet I do have a passion for writing. It’s one of the ways I exercise my creative muscles. One silly thing in particular I love to do is write poetry in the form of spells. For example, if I am craving or lacking a certain something, I might sit down and write a few lines that I can then recite later to attract it. These are so fun to do and I encourage others to try it! I’ll post these occasionally when I come up with new ones, so check back for more! Today we have two:

When you’re looking for…

Fashion Improvement

Please step up my game to look less grimy,

Inspiration abound to guide me.

Dapper, spiffy, majestic and tasteful

A perfect fit, chic and playful.

Send me that swag, that talent for style.

Attire so fire, my level gets higher,

Turning heads so fast when they spy me.

Grant me the know-how to match it and pair it.

A wardrobe so sharp,

With the confidence to wear it.

I’ll be hip and timely,

Unique and shiny,

No reason left to hide me!

When you’re looking for …

Better Productivity

Grant me the energy to produce results,

Discipline to see ends meet.

Speed to be efficient,

and focus to reach a feat.

Calling on abundance,

plus the motivation to seek it.

Bathe me with the gift to achieve.

Let it wash over me,

All tasks complete. 

Consider pairing these with a candle or other ritual that gets you in the right mood to make special wishes. You can also add - “and so it is!” at the end. Have fun!
